About

While attending PAX Unplugged 2023 I saw some great gaming accessories ranging from high end miniatures to simple laser cut wooden tokens. Here was a niche for me that I could further develop my design and making skills. Professionally I work with students and makerspaces in universities on ideation, design, prototyping and fun.

I created 3D Game Bits as a way to share more than just the digital files I designed. I want to share my design journey in hopes that it is helpful or at least interesting to others.

Contained in these pages are a series of my design journeys for various projects, some directly relevant to gaming and others journeys that I want to share using similar technologies and processes.

I hope you find these stories enjoyable and/or you learn something new. I would love to hear from you in the comments. As a design is never truly done, I welcome critiques and praise equally.

The minifigure of myself that I use for a logo was created from a 3d scan and full color HP Fuse print done by Figure Fusion 3D. I have printed out various scales on resin and filament printers that you may see throughout the site.
